Avengers Mansion The Avengers Mansion had three above-ground floors and three basement floors. The first three floors were open to the public and had twelve rooms to house Avengers who wished to reside in the mansion, as well as Jarvis' quarters. A portion of the mansion's third floor served as a hangar for the Avengers' Quinjets, their primary mode of transportation. The three floors below ground were restricted to the public and had modified rooms for the Avengers' needs. Such rooms below ground were: Tony Stark's arsenal chamber, the Avengers gym, Hawkeye's test-shooting room, the training room (much like the X-Mansion's Danger Room), The cryogenic storage area, and the ultra-secure assembly room. The Mansion was surrounded by a wall twelve feet high and one foot thick, as well as an array of high-tech security defenses. Nonetheless, those defenses were often breached by the supervillains faced by the Avengers. |

Stark Tower - 1 Viewing The tower’s entire top floor is occupied by the war room, a huge, glass-panelled conference room with a spectacular 360 degree view of the city. This high-tech room can generate 3-D holographic computer displays, pick up news feeds from over fifty stations simultaneously, display schematics, or provide live video links to agencies and groups such as S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Fantastic Four. The other two floors include spacious living quarters, a kitchen and presumably other, as yet undisclosed, facilities. The building’s rooftop aero-pad houses the team’s helicopters and Quinjets, and also features a protective dome which can be extended to cover the top of the building, keeping threats either in or out as desired. |

Ravencroft Institute for the Criminally Insane The Ravencroft Institute for the Criminally Insane was set up by the government shortly after the success of Dr. Ashley Kafka’s treatment of Vermin. Kafka was selected to run the facility along with Edward Whelan, the recently reformed Vermin, as her assistant. Acting as head of security was John Jameson, who Kafka had briefly dated for a time. The Institute housed many of Spider-Man’s villains including Carnage, Jackal, Shriek, and the second Carrion. On one occasion, Kafka was tricked into trusting the Chameleon and allowed him to flee. She and Jameson were then fired from their duties and replaced by Leonard Samson. |

Xavier's School for the Gifted The X-Mansion is the common name for Professor Xavier's mansion. It is the base of operations and training site of the X-Men and the location of a school for mutant teenagers, the Xavier Institute for Higher Learning, formerly Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. It is also the worldwide headquarters of the X-Corporation. Its address is 1407 Graymalkin Lane, Salem Center (part of the town of North Salem), located in the very northeast corner of Westchester County, New York. The school's motto is "mutatis mutandis." |
