Roleplay example:
Evan stood slipped into the room, steps light, and silent no sound alerted any to his presence except for the dark aura that seemed to radiate from his body. He had a powerful presence one that demanded attention and he got it. He didn't walk over to his lover's side, no instead he kept watch from behind. The man should he escape wouldn't make it past him, wouldn't make it close his son. M Shadows leaned back against the door frame blocking the mutant's escape as he leaned his head against the wooden frame. He crossed his arms nonchalantly over his chest, his muscles rippling as he had a small amount of sweat covering his body. He stood in this this room full of thieves in nothing but low riding blue jeans, that hugged low on his hips leaving the fact he didn't have anything on under them easy to tell. He had no reason to protect himself, nothing got close to him. Next to Lynnsa here he held if not surpassed her powers simply by matter of age five years was a long gap. He was now thirty-three years old.
His eyes swept over the shield producing mutant that had dared set foot in New Orleans and had become an interesting target for the Thieves Guild. He watched the young man and his lips curled in disgust. He couldn't let that go, the way he was looking at her, if he did it would allow the next idiot to assume he could as well. This had nothing to do with Lynnsa defending herself, not this was something else entirely and she should know the difference they'd been together for quite some time now. As took several long quick strides into the room, did it get more a hush too it, everyone watching, waiting with held breaths to see what he would do. As much as he wanted to bring the boy's neck or bury his hand into his hair and force his nose to the floor like a good little doggy he stood between the two guards that had immediately stepped back and one went the left the other the guard the right to give him room. The forest eyed man leaned a little closer his lips close to the young man's ear. "I suggest you keep your eyes on the floor where they belong or you might find you'll never get up from there" he said his voice low, dangerous as it sent a chill through the ranks of the men and women standing around their leader, the last thing any of them wanted to do was be on the reserving end of Evan Shadows, the stories of his past were enough to keep most from wanting to end up like his victims, all who were woman, but the men if there were any would never be found at least not in any recognizable size.
His instincts screaming at him to cut the man, make him pay for looking at Lynnsa with anything else but respect. He stood back to his full height, the scars standing out against his tan skin along his back, as his gaze traveled over scouts head here and landed with the fire filled green ones that he had grown so accustomed to seeing in these years of his life. He took a small step back but didn't stray nor retreat from his current position behind the man who was once Athena De Costa, oh yes he knew. He knew a lot, in his line of work their were things you needed to know, it wasn't hard to get the records, and it wasn't hard to make that one phone call to the blond who was still on his little hit list, his dream kills, kills he would have done before the passing of his time from this world.
At Lynnsa's old name did he let his gaze travel back to the man and watch her, no him, no it at the moment. He was a great vantage point to see the red-head's reaction to that name as well
